The province of Jujuy presented its tourism offerings to more than 180 travel agencies in the capital of Paraguay on April 10. The event aimed to strengthen regional visitor arrivals by highlighting the cultural diversity and improved connectivity that allows Paraguayan tourists to visit Jujuy throughout the year.
Melina Ainstein, director of the Tourism Promotion Entity, said during the event that working together with operator Audamar is important for marketing Jujuy as a destination. “Our objective is to strengthen commercial ties and provide data that facilitate sales, ensuring that Paraguayan agents have the tools to offer Jujuy as a competitive option,” Ainstein said after her presentation.
The activity in Paraguay included other national destinations and service providers. Organizers focused on providing technical presentations for local professionals, aiming to boost business opportunities and reinforce Jujuy’s presence in the Southern Cone market.
According to organizers, this event is part of ongoing efforts designed to consolidate growth in response to foreign demand. By integrating direct sales strategies with these presentations, they hope to secure a strong position for Jujuy’s tourism services and showcase its cultural diversity across all four regions.
These initiatives reflect broader trends among Argentine provinces seeking new markets and partnerships within South America’s travel sector.
