The province of Jujuy has launched a promotional tour along Argentina’s Atlantic Coast to boost tourism for the 2026 summer season. The initiative began on January 13 in Mar del Plata, where representatives from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism engaged directly with beachgoers at Playa Varese in the morning and Playa Grande in the afternoon.
The promotional team, led by Federico Posadas, Minister of Culture and Tourism, aimed to increase awareness and interest in Jujuy as a travel destination. The campaign will continue with an event titled “Presentation of Destination Jujuy” at Santa Playa Grande (Victoria Ocampo), scheduled for January 14. This meeting is targeted at tourism operators and specialized media and has already reached full capacity.
Federico Posadas stated: “Mar del Plata is a strategic point for tourism promotion because it brings together thousands of potential visitors and key sector actors,” adding, “the response we received was very positive and allows us to anticipate good prospects for the 2026 summer season in Jujuy.”
He also noted that these activities are “part of a sustained strategy to position the province nationally, showing not only our landscapes but also the cultural identity and active agenda that Jujuy offers throughout the year.”
After Mar del Plata, the itinerary continued on January 14 with visits to Pinamar and Cariló beaches and public spaces. On January 15, actions moved to Miramar, completing this phase of outreach along Buenos Aires’ coastal region.
With this tour, Jujuy aims to maintain a steady presence in major tourist destinations across Argentina ahead of next summer’s peak season.
