Jujuy took part in the 64th Workshop of the Cordoba Association of Travel Agencies (ACAV) and the 2nd Travel Market, aiming to strengthen its position as a tourist destination within Argentina. The events took place on October 31 and November 1 at the Cordoba Convention Center, bringing together tourism professionals and members of the public.
The Jujuy delegation included operators, agencies, and tourism professionals who presented new offerings, landscapes, and experiences unique to the province. Their main goal was to highlight Jujuy as a destination with “a unique convergence of culture, nature, and history.”
The ACAV Workshop is considered one of the most important business meetings for tourism in central Argentina. Jujuy’s participation helped reinforce commercial relationships with travel agencies and tour operators from across the country. These connections are seen as essential for selling tour packages ahead of the upcoming season.
During the Travel Market event, which was open to the public, representatives from Jujuy engaged directly with thousands of potential tourists. Attendees learned about attractions such as Quebrada de Humahuaca—a World Heritage Site—Salinas Grandes, and the Puna region.
According to organizers, this presence in Cordoba supports Jujuy’s ongoing strategy to attract visitors interested in authentic experiences.
