The Secretariat of Culture of Jujuy Province has announced the start of the Christmas Special edition of the Ciclos Musicales, which this year will be held alongside the VI Provincial Fair of the Mercado Artesanal de Jujuy. The event, aimed at families, features live music, ballet performances, local singers, and artisans from across the province. Activities will take place in Plaza España throughout December with free admission.
The program begins on Saturday, December 13 at 6:30 p.m., featuring Ballet Juventud Prolongada, Taty Domínguez, Jujeños, and Tony Izquierdo. On Sunday, December 14 at 6:30 p.m., attendees can see Milongueros 360°, Daniel Vedia, Elena Mattos, and Coroico perform a mix of popular music and traditional rhythms.
On Thursday, December 18 at 7:00 p.m., Coro Kamay will present a special seasonal repertoire. The schedule continues on Saturday, December 20 at 6:30 p.m. with Ballet Mama Pacha, Ismael y su grupo Libera2, Norma de América and Ternura performing dance and music for all ages. The final day is Sunday, December 21 at 6:30 p.m., with performances by Coro Vientos de Tarde, Música con Alas, Oriana Reyes and Angelo Aranda.
The Secretariat stated that these activities are designed to bring together families in Jujuy and support local artistic expression as well as promote the work of artisans and entrepreneurs during the fair. “These activities seek to promote the gathering of Jujuy families, strengthen ties with artistic expressions from the province and support the work of local artisans and entrepreneurs who will also participate in the VI Provincial Fair of Mercado Artesanal,” according to an official statement.
