For the first time, the Ministry of Education of Jujuy has published the provisional Unique Order of Merit List (LUOM) for secondary education in February. This move aims to ensure that teaching positions are filled before the start of the 2026 school year.

Ana Carolina Sued, recently appointed president of the Provincial Board of Teacher Qualification, described this as a significant step forward. She stated, “The Board, in collaboration with the governorship and technical teams from other departments, worked intensively to reduce waiting times and ensure that positions are filled before classes begin. It is important to highlight that the classification of files is handled by qualified teachers prepared for this role.”

The publication of this list is expected to benefit both students and teachers by recognizing teachers’ experience and assigning appropriate scores. This process supports better organization in filling teaching roles.

The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to teachers and families in Jujuy by ensuring a quality educational start with inclusion and equity across all regions.
