The Ministry of Health in Jujuy has announced a change in the way appointments are scheduled through its Call Center. Starting November 3, the system now separates appointment requests for certain high-demand specialties to better manage incoming calls.

The call center service at 0800 777 7711 remains available from Monday to Friday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. However, appointments for gynecology, obstetrics, and psychology can only be requested from Monday to Friday between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Gustavo Nieto, who leads the area, explained: “People who need access to these three specialties must contact our Call Center from Monday to Friday in the afternoon, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.” He added: “The objective of this modality is to optimize the extended working hours of our line since most calls occur in the morning. Separating these specialties will help reduce call volume and provide effective responses to each person who contacts us.”

Appointments for health certificates (Carnet Sanitario) can also be requested in the afternoon by calling between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

For all other medical specialties, appointment scheduling continues during regular business hours from Monday to Friday, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
