The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Jujuy presented its 2025 Yearbook at the Museo El Cabildo, highlighting achievements from the past year and outlining future challenges. The event was attended by Minister Federico Posadas, state secretaries, municipal mayors, legislators, and technical teams.
“This yearbook is more than a summary; it is a living record of what we did together: projects, challenges, emotions and achievements that build identity,” participants stated during the opening.
A video showcased significant moments from the year before officials discussed their work and plans for 2026.
José Rodríguez Bárcena, Secretary of Culture, emphasized the value of the publication as evidence of Jujuy’s cultural activity. “Here is captured the creative pulse of our people, the defense of heritage and the vitality of our traditions, which are the soul of Jujuy and its main attraction,” he said.
Secretary of Tourism Diego Valdecantos spoke about the tangible impact of documented actions. “Each page represents a step in positioning Jujuy as a relevant destination. It speaks to the unique experience we offer, based on authenticity and warmth, but also infrastructure, promotion and professionalization of the sector.”
Minister Federico Posadas highlighted an integrated approach to public policy. “This book shows how culture and tourism reinforce each other. It is the result of cross-cutting work aimed at economic development without losing sight of our roots, and it is a roadmap to deepen what has been achieved next year.”
The presentation concluded with a call to continue advancing in 2026 by strengthening Jujuy as a leading cultural and tourist destination while documenting progress and inviting participation in future initiatives.
