Students from Jujuy who took part in the national round of the 34th Ñandú Mathematical Olympiad visited the Ministry Complex after representing their province at the event. The academic competition, held in La Falda, Córdoba, from October 21 to 24, brought together students from across Argentina.
The Jujuy delegation included Zoe Ingrid Vale Méndez from School No. 461 “Bicentenario de la Patria,” Santino Coria Girón from School No. 1 “Nuevo Horizonte,” Rubén Alejandro Rivarola from Che-Il School, and Máximo López from School No. 223 “Arzobispo Mendizábal.” These students attended with their teachers and shared their experiences representing Jujuy in this educational event.
Natalia García Goyena, Secretary of Strategic Educational Planning, welcomed the students to the complex as part of ongoing efforts to promote participation in national academic activities.
Karina Copa, director of Colegio Nuevo Horizonte, emphasized the consistent work of teaching teams and family support: “These achievements are the result of commitment, dedication and passion of teachers who prepare students outside regular hours, with effort and enthusiasm for teaching mathematics.”
The Ministry of Education recognized both the participation of schools and support provided to the Jujuy delegation. It also highlighted the importance of continued collaboration to strengthen science education and encourage student involvement in activities that promote critical thinking and academic excellence.
