Jujuy will host the International Meeting of Writers for Peace on November 25 and 26 at the Culturarte Cultural Center. The event aims to bring together writers, students, and researchers from Argentina and other countries for two days focused on literature as a means of dialogue and collective building.
The official invitation was announced during a press conference led by José Rodríguez Bárcena, Secretary of Culture of the Province, along with Dr. Ana Zulema Gaspar (Azul Bohemia), president of the literary group “Grullas de Artistas y Bohemios,” and members of “Olivo de la Paz.”
The meeting will operate under the themes “The pen and the word, bridges of peace” and “May peace blossom in every thought, word, and letter.” Organizers invite students, writers, researchers, and the general public to participate in activities designed to use literature as a bridge for dialogue, creation, and reflection.
Throughout the event there will be readings, discussions, presentations, and spaces for exchange. These activities are intended to consider how written words can promote peace and understanding. The program also seeks to strengthen ties between literary groups, artistic collectives, and community projects that use culture to support peaceful conflict resolution.
