The National Institute of Technological Education (INET) has approved new curriculum designs for technical education in night schools. The updates focus on the specialties of Master Builder (Construction) and Electromechanics, targeting programs for young people and adults.
These changes address the need to modernize longstanding study plans at Technical School No. 1 “General Savio” in PalpalĆ” and Technical School No. 1 “EscolĆ”stico Zegada” in San Salvador de Jujuy. The proposals were developed collaboratively by the Secondary Education, Technical Professional, and Educational Planning Directorates, together with school leadership teams and teachers from both institutions, supported by INET’s pedagogical team.
Gustavo Peltzer, national director of Technical Professional Education, confirmed INETās approval. He stated: “the curriculum designs presented comply with the parameters established by the Federal Council of Education regarding content and hourly load.” He added that INET found them technically relevant and pedagogically strong, ensuring they meet national standards required for official recognition.
The Ministry of Education will now begin several priority actions. These include planning the 2026/2027 academic year under the new curricula, starting procedures to obtain national validity for qualifications, designing strategies to recognize prior learning and facilitate student mobility, as well as providing pedagogical and technical training for teaching staff to support implementation.
Through these steps, Jujuy aims to reinforce its commitment to inclusive, high-quality technical professional education with a national outlook.
