Carina Zampini and Diego Leuco were announced on Apr. 9 as the new hosts of La Peña de Morfi, marking the start of a new season for the popular television program.

This season is notable because it celebrates the show’s tenth anniversary. The producers have promised surprises throughout the year to commemorate a decade on air.

A preview video shared by Telefe on social media introduced part of this year’s team, including Santiago Giorgini, Nazareno Móttola, Pachu Peña, Pichu Straneo, Felicitas Pizarro, and Turco Husain. In the video, Diego Leuco said: “Volvemos con La Peña y cumplimos 10 años, necesitamos ideas.” Later in the clip, Carina Zampini joined and celebrated: “Estoy con La Peña hasta el fin del mundo.”

The first episode of the new season will air on Sunday, April 12 at 1:00 p.m., featuring special guest artists. Destino San Javier will perform folklore music along with Chaqueño Palavecino. Valeria Lynch and Alejandro Lerner are also scheduled to sing their most requested songs for viewers. Additionally, Ángela Leiva and Ráfaga will bring cumbia music to the show.

The upcoming anniversary season aims to offer a blend of tradition and novelty as it highlights some of Argentina’s well-known musical talents.
