Technical teams from the Ministry of Education, led by the Secretariat of Strategic Planning, met with counterparts from the Ministry of Strategic Planning and Modernization to establish work guidelines on Apr. 10. The meeting aimed to validate documents that will set out criteria, methods, and guidelines for planning in the education sector.
Minister Daniela Teseira said the commitment shown by both teams is important for advancing a forward-looking management approach. “Este proceso impulsa una gestión prospectiva, articulada y orientada a una planificación a corto y mediano plazo,” Teseira said.
The meeting was attended by Natalia Quiroga, secretary of Strategic Planning; Carolina Requelme from Educational Management; and Daniela Galián, director of Educational Planning, Information and Evaluation.
This collaborative effort is part of ongoing initiatives to modernize state operations through inter-ministerial cooperation. Officials say these steps are designed to improve efficiency in setting educational priorities.
Future meetings are expected as both ministries continue working together on strategies that support short- and medium-term educational goals.
