On December 10, the Ministry of Education of Jujuy, through its Directorate of Community Education and in collaboration with the Mental Health Area of the Municipality of San Salvador de Jujuy, awarded certificates to 80 community educators. The recognition was for their participation in the training program “Community Educators as Agents of Prevention and Care in Mental Health.”
The training took place over 17 in-person sessions held during September, October, and November. The program aimed to promote preventive practices, emotional literacy, and early detection of risk situations. It also sought to reinforce the commitment of both the Ministry of Education and the Municipality of San Salvador de Jujuy to building safe environments.
The event marked the conclusion of a process that acknowledged the dedication and active involvement of community educators. These educators play an important role in supporting educational pathways across different areas in the province.
Present at the ceremony were Miriam Garzón, Director of Community Education; Daniela Amerise, Undersecretary for Human Development, Health and Education from the municipality; as well as members of the municipal technical team.
