The Ministry of Education held the event “Let’s Talk About Grooming” on Thursday, coinciding with the National Day Against Grooming. The event aimed to showcase educational projects produced in 2025 that combine art, technology, and education to promote critical digital citizenship. Participating institutions included Escuela N° 418 Eva Perón, Escuela Normal “Juan Ignacio Gorriti,” Colegio Blaise Pascal, Escuela N° 7 Sarmiento, Secundario N° 34, Escuela N° 435 Humberto J. Agüero, Escuela Provincial de Arte N°1, and Centro Polivalente de Arte.
During the event, each school presented multimedia projects to authorities and the educational community. These presentations included videos, digital narratives, and artistic proposals focused on grooming prevention. Minister Miriam Serrano highlighted the educational purpose of the event and said: “Here we created a combination of arts, technology, talent and creativity with a topic that is of great interest and concern. We must be able to talk freely about this subject but above all educate about it.” She also stressed the need for collective involvement: “We all have to get involved to prevent this crime because those who can be victims are our children and young people.”
The program also featured the introduction of an educational app called “Ciber-SegurApp.” This tool was developed to raise digital awareness and help students and families identify risks in virtual environments. The team from the Center for Educational Innovation explained how the app is used in school projects.
Governor Carlos Sadir attended the closing ceremony and inaugurated a mural titled “Art, Care and Digital Culture.” The mural was created by art students working with muralists, technologists, and local artists. It features augmented reality accessible via QR code and represents collaborative work between educational institutions, specialists, and the Ministry of Education.
The event was also attended by other ministry officials such as Pablo Almirón (Director of Educational Innovation), Julieta Yamín Squicciarini (Director of Comprehensive Educational Support), workshop facilitators Juan Irustra and Alejandro Zogbe, as well as supervisors, directors, teachers, and students. The activity reaffirmed the province’s commitment to protecting children and adolescents in digital environments.
