The Ministry of Education of Jujuy, through its Center for Educational Innovation, will host the event “Let’s Talk About Grooming” on Thursday, November 13, from 10:00 to 12:00 at the Center for Educational Innovation in Ciudad Cultural. The event is part of national efforts to raise awareness about grooming and aims to promote critical and responsible digital citizenship among children and adolescents.
According to the ministry, the initiative seeks to highlight educational projects developed during 2025 under the multimedia project line “Let’s Talk About Grooming,” which focuses on education, technology, and art. The event coincides with the National Day Against Grooming and intends to strengthen safe online practices.
During the session, students will present their projects and experiences related to internet safety. The program includes a presentation of the educational application “Ciber-SegurApp” and concludes with the inauguration of a mural featuring augmented reality.
“The works that will be presented reflect the commitment of students and teachers in addressing this issue,” stated representatives from the Ministry of Education. “With these actions, the Ministry of Education reaffirms its commitment to caring for and supporting children and adolescents in digital environments by promoting responsible and safe participation.”
Students from primary and secondary schools produced audiovisual, graphic, and narrative materials aimed at preventing grooming using STEAM tools. Participating institutions include Escuela N° 418 Eva Perón, Escuela Normal Juan Ignacio Gorriti, Escuela N° 7 Domingo Faustino Sarmiento (Tilcara), Colegio Secundario N° 34, Escuela Provincial de Arte N° Merardo Pantoja, and Centro Polivalente de Artes Prof. Luis Alberto Martínez.
The free app “Ciber-SegurApp,” created by students aged 9 to 12 in a workshop titled “Design and Program Your App,” offers interactive content on digital footprints, cybersecurity, and grooming prevention.
A collective artistic intervention combining art with technology will also be unveiled as an augmented reality mural titled “Art, Care, and Digital Culture.”
These initiatives are part of ongoing policies prioritizing protection for children’s well-being in digital spaces.
