The Ministry of Education has announced that a food handling course will be held for general services staff working in educational institutions with snack and/or lunch services in the Palpalá department. The event is scheduled for November 5, 2025, and will take place at Cine AHZ in the city of Palpalá from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The training session will be led by the Superior Unidad Bromatológica (SUNIBROM). Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance at no cost, which is valid for three years and qualifies them to work in all educational institutions.

If participants need the certificate for private sector activities, they must present it at SUNIBROM and pay the required fee.

María José Gloss, coordinator of Healthy School Environments, said, “The course coincides with the Institutional Day when students do not attend school, so it does not affect the meal service provided by schools.”
