The Ministry of Education has launched the 2025 Arts Week, an event aimed at highlighting art as a means of connection, learning, and transformation. The initiative is led by the Artistic Education Department and seeks to create experiences that enhance collaboration between educational levels, encourage creative skills, and promote active participation among students from Specialized Art Secondary Schools, Artistic-Technical, and Oriented programs.

The opening event was attended by several provincial officials, including JosƩ Rodrƭguez BƔrcena, Secretary of Culture; Luis Medina Zar, Director of Ciudad de las Artes; Carla Galian, Director of Student Welfare; Gabriel Ruiz, General Coordinator for Educational Modalities; and Agustina Rojas, Head of Artistic Education. Institutional authorities, teachers, students, and members of the public also participated in the launch.

During the first two days—Monday and Tuesday—students presented theater performances, musical acts, dance pieces, body painting exhibitions, and unveiled a mural created in partnership with the Education in Confinement Modality. These activities showcased both artistic talent and student engagement.

Activities are scheduled to continue on Thursday and Friday. Wednesday was set aside for an institutional day as part of the school calendar.

“The 2025 Arts Week reminds us that art is a powerful tool to express ourselves, build community and transform reality,” stated organizers.
