The Ministry of Education announced on Apr. 13 a new initiative aimed at promoting physical activity and student well-being at Colegio Nacional N°3 “Éxodo Jujeño”. The effort was organized by the Department of Sport and Physical Education, part of the Secretariat for Socio-Educational Policies.
The program was held in recognition of the International Day of Physical Activity and the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace. Under the slogan “Add movement, multiply well-being,” it encouraged healthy habits and active participation among students from both school shifts during extended recess periods. Organizers said this scheduling allowed activities to take place without disrupting regular classes.
The initiative included various physical and recreational dynamics designed not only to promote bodily movement but also to strengthen peer relationships. It emphasized core values such as respect, inclusion, and coexistence among students.
According to the Ministry, this proposal is part of an ongoing strategy focused on creating healthy school environments, strengthening local engagement, and expanding opportunities for student participation.
