Ministry of Education recognizes student council program for promoting youth participation

The Ministry of Education has recognized the Student Deliberative Council Program in San Salvador de Jujuy for its contribution to youth participation. The program received the Declaration of Educational Interest through Ministerial Resolution No. 8428-E-25.

Julio Alarcón, Secretary of Socio-Educational Policies, presented the declaration to Flavia Lara, Coordinator of Public Policies for Adolescence and Youth at the Municipality of San Salvador de Jujuy. The event was attended by advisor teachers, members, and authorities from the Student Deliberative Council.

This recognition extends to future editions of the council, acknowledging its ongoing work and contribution to civic and democratic education among young people.

During the session that followed, students introduced their projects for consideration and voting by council members. The meeting highlighted youth leadership and teamwork among those chosen to lead the session.
