The Ministry of Education has announced the approval of the school calendar for the 2026 academic year, as well as for the special 2026-2027 school period. This was formalized through Resolution No. 105 E/26, which establishes the organizational structure of the calendar.
According to the ministry, “this document aims to organize and plan educational activities at all levels: Initial, Primary, Secondary, Higher Education and their various modalities, ensuring predictability and coherence in the development of the academic year.”
The regulations apply to public institutions managed by both provincial and municipal authorities, as well as private, social, and cooperative institutions throughout the jurisdiction.
The Secretariat for Educational Management has supplemented this measure with Resolutions No. 007 and No. 008. These resolutions further clarify key organizational aspects.
Resolution No. 007 includes several annexes:
Annex I covers general provisions on activities at the start and after the end of the school year.
Annex II details school ceremonies and commemorations.
Annex III provides contact information for different areas within the Ministry of Education.
Resolution No. 008 features a single annex titled “Activities for the First Trimester of 2026,” which is intended to help administratively organize various educational levels and modalities.
The ministry stated that these guidelines are designed to support strategic management focused on students’ actual educational paths.
