The Ministry of Human Development announced on April 7 that the Alimentar-Ce card has been accredited for registered provincial holders and national beneficiaries. The announcement was made through the Secretariat of Direct Assistance.
The Alimentar-Ce program is aimed at providing food assistance and guidance to people with celiac disease who are in a situation of economic vulnerability and do not have health insurance coverage.
According to the ministry, these social actions are carried out as part of public food policies established by National Law No. 26.588, its amendment National Law No. 27.196, and Provincial Law No. 6.015, which guarantee food assistance to economically vulnerable populations.
The Secretariat also reminded recipients that the card is non-transferable.
These measures reflect ongoing efforts to support individuals with specific dietary needs who face financial hardship.
