The Ministry of Human Development announced on April 1 that it will begin direct delivery of food modules from the “Comer en Casa” program to families in the Valles region starting Tuesday, April 7.
The initiative aims to provide nutritional support to local families. The distribution is part of a coordinated effort between the technical team of the Provincial Social Nutritional Plan (Pla.So.Nu.P.), municipal authorities, and those responsible for Local Management Units.
According to the ministry, deliveries will take place at various locations. On Tuesday, April 7, modules will be distributed in San Antonio at the former Children’s Home on San MartÃn Street; Los Alisos at the municipal delegation; Aguas Calientes at the Community Integration Center in El Progreso neighborhood; Puesto Viejo at Punto Digital in Centro Mina neighborhood; Los Lapachos at Finca Leach’s municipal delegation; and Pampa Blanca at the Multipurpose Room on Comandante Espora Street. All distributions are scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
In El Carmen, food modules will be available on April 7 and April 8 at the former Children’s Dining Hall located on Coronel Arenas Street and Avenue July 9. On Thursday, April 9 and Friday, April 10, Yala’s distribution point will be municipal offices for residents of Yala and San Pablo de Reyes. In León, modules can be collected from the municipal delegation; Lozano’s site is NUM Carlos Alvarado—all open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Rural areas are scheduled for Monday, April 13.
Monterrico’s distribution will take place at the Adolescent Meeting Center on Hermenegildo Sivila Street No.1050 during standard hours.
The ministry reminds beneficiaries to bring their original identification documents when collecting food modules. Individuals with disabilities must also present their Unique Disability Certificate.
