The Ministry of Human Development announced on April 13 that it will begin distributing food packages through the “Comer en Casa” program to families in Fraile Pintado, Yungas. The operation is set to start on Thursday, April 16.
The distribution aims to provide direct assistance to local families as part of ongoing social support efforts. According to the ministry, this initiative is coordinated by the technical team from the Provincial Social Nutrition Plan and local municipal authorities.
Recipients are reminded by the ministry that they must bring their original national identification card when collecting their food units. Individuals with disabilities are required to present their Unique Disability Certificate.
In Fraile Pintado, distributions will take place on Thursday, April 16 and Friday, April 17 at Comedor “Nora Mealla” on Avenida 24 de Mayo from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. In Chalicán, food units will be distributed on Friday, April 17 at Club Chalicán’s facility during the same hours.
The ministry said these efforts are designed to ensure access for those most in need within these communities.
