On October 20, the Ministry Complex hosted the presentation of “Literacy From the Cradle for Life,” a program organized by the Directorate of Community Education as part of the Provincial Literacy Plan. The initiative is coordinated through the Strengthening Educational Practices for Early Childhood program.
The event was aimed at community educators and those responsible for Child Development Centers (CDI) working in institutions not formally included in official education. It focused on training and professional development for early childhood education. Participants explored the importance of developing phonological awareness as a foundation for language acquisition. They also received training on tools for applying, observing, and evaluating activities that support early oral language stimulation.
In addition, strategies were discussed to identify potential difficulties in phonatory development and propose suitable interventions, reinforcing the right to quality education from an early age.
