The Dirección de Salud Integral y Género of the capital city announced on April 9 that it will hold a series of training sessions focused on the prevention of HIV, viral hepatitis, and sexually transmitted infections. The sessions are scheduled for Fridays—April 17 and 24, as well as May 8 and 14—at the Colegio de Ingenieros de Jujuy located at Belgrano 969, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The initiative is part of the Municipal Program for Prevention of HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, and Sexually Transmitted Infections. Organizers said the goal is to provide both theoretical and practical tools to strengthen citizens’ active role in prevention efforts by promoting access to reliable, up-to-date information based on scientific evidence.
Those interested in attending can register by completing an online form or scanning a QR code provided by organizers. Registration is open to all members of the public.
The training will be held in person at no cost and participants will receive certificates upon completion. The program consists of four modules distributed over four days. Attendance is limited to fifty people per session, with confirmation sent via email after registration.
Organizers said they hope this initiative will help empower more people with knowledge about disease prevention within the community.
