NBA 2K26 became available on Xbox Game Pass starting April 3, making it one of the most unexpected additions to Microsoft’s gaming subscription service this month.
The basketball game, developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K, is now part of the Microsoft subscription catalog. This move expands the sports offerings for active subscribers at no extra cost.
Subscribers can access all major modes of NBA 2K26, including MyCareer, MyTeam, Play Now, and MyNBA. These features allow players to experience an updated NBA simulation with current rosters and gameplay improvements.
The arrival of NBA 2K26 on Game Pass was not announced in advance as part of Microsoft’s usual update schedule. This approach follows a recent trend by Microsoft to surprise its gaming community with unannounced releases.
The title is available across Xbox Series X|S consoles, Xbox One, PC, and cloud gaming. This allows users in various regions—including Argentina and other parts of Latin America where Game Pass has seen strong growth—to access the game through different devices within the Game Pass ecosystem.
With this addition, Microsoft strengthens its sports lineup and continues to position Game Pass as a leading platform in the video game subscription market.
