Antonio Buljubasich, secretary of the Provincial Agency for the Implementation of the Medical Degree Program, met with Federico Cardozo, Minister of Finance and Economy, during an informational meeting on April 6.

The meeting focused on reviewing the development of the medical degree program in Ledesma and considering future steps.

The main campus for this new medical degree is located in Libertador General San Martín city within Ledesma. The program at Universidad Nacional de Jujuy officially began classes last March after selecting sixty top students based on their academic performance. The curriculum spans six years and emphasizes community medicine and primary care.

Buljubasich concluded by saying that efforts continue to ensure competent personnel and efficient processes to strengthen institutions, support decentralization, and contribute to the well-being of the community.
