The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Jujuy has announced the opening of the photographic exhibition “Maestros y Discípulos 2026.” The event is scheduled for Friday, February 13 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cabildo Histórico de Humahuaca. Admission to the exhibition is free.
This year’s edition pays tribute to Ernestina Cari and Fortunato Ramos, two figures recognized for their contributions to cultural expression and the preservation of community memory in Jujuy. The exhibition uses visual storytelling to highlight histories, identities, and experiences that connect different generations.
According to organizers, “the Maestros y Discípulos program promotes spaces for recognition and gathering, highlighting those who, from various fields, contribute to preserving and transmitting Jujuy’s cultural heritage.”
The Ministry has extended an invitation to residents, students, institutions, and the general public to attend the opening and view the exhibition.
“Admission is free,” stated organizers.
