The Ministry of Education has announced that pre-registration for higher education programs at state-managed Institutes of Higher Education (IES) in Jujuy will close on February 13, 2026. Applicants must create a user account at nexo.jujuy.edu.ar to complete the online form, which is available until 11:59 p.m. on the closing date. There are no limits on the number of programs an individual can apply for during this stage, and there are no program-specific quotas.
After submitting the online form, applicants must confirm their registration by February 20, 2026. This requires presenting a copy of their national ID and high school diploma or proof of completion at the relevant IES. Failure to present these documents on time will void the pre-registration.
Applicants who confirm their registration will be eligible to participate in a mandatory entrance course, scheduled from February 23 to March 20, 2026. The course may be conducted either in person or virtually, depending on each institute’s organization. For programs with virtual courses, instruction and activities will take place via the Virtual Campus platform.
The entrance course includes a compulsory final exam held in person for all applicants. The results of this exam will determine the merit order used as the sole criterion for admission into each program according to available places.
According to official information, Jujuy offers more than 120 technical degrees and over 40 teacher training programs at its higher education institutions. Additional details about available courses can be found at campusvirtual.jujuy.edu.ar/expo-educativa-provincial/.
“The confirmation enables applicants to participate in the Mandatory Entrance Course, which will take place from February 23 to March 20, 2026, either in person or virtually depending on each institute’s organization. For courses whose orientation is virtual, content and activities will be managed by responsible teachers through the Virtual Campus,” stated officials from the Ministry of Education.
