The Ministry of Education has announced the start of the pre-registration process for applicants seeking to enter state-managed Higher Education Institutes (IES) for the 2026 academic year in Jujuy.
To begin pre-registration, all applicants must create a user account at nexo.jujuy.edu.ar. This step is already available. The online pre-registration form will be open from December 15, 2025, at midnight until December 29, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. During this period, there are no limits on the number of educational programs a person can apply to and no quotas set by career.
After filling out the digital form, applicants are required to present documentation in person at their chosen IES to confirm their registration. Failure to submit documents within the specified timeframe will result in cancellation of pre-registration.
Applicants must provide a simple photocopy of their national ID and either a photocopy of their secondary school diploma or proof of completion by December 29, 2025.
Confirmation allows candidates to participate in the mandatory entrance course scheduled from February 23 to March 20, 2026. This course may be conducted either in-person or virtually depending on each institute’s organization. For programs with virtual courses, instruction and activities will take place through the Virtual Campus platform managed by assigned teachers.
A final in-person evaluation is compulsory for all candidates at the end of the entrance course. The exam results will determine merit ranking—the only criterion for admission—subject also to available places at each IES.
The Ministry urges prospective students to stay informed via official channels and adhere strictly to deadlines for successful participation in the admission process.
