Provincial authorities and local representatives from the Provincial Council of Culture met virtually to discuss cultural planning for the Puna region for 2025 and 2026. The meeting was organized by the Province’s Secretariat of Culture and aimed to ensure participation from all communities, including those in remote areas.
Attendees included Secretary of Culture José RodrÃguez Bárcena, Director of Culture Gisela Arias, Director of Heritage Sebastián Pasin, Coordinator of Cultural Rights Aylen López, Coordinator of Arts and Cultural Industries Florencia Cari, and Coordinator of Cultural Management Luis Canciani.
During the session, participants reviewed upcoming projects and set out priorities for 2026 with attention to the specific needs of the Puna region. The meeting also focused on collaborating with each community.
Representatives from La Quiaca, Rinconada, Cusi Cusi, El Moreno, Mina Pirquitas, Susques, Yavi, and Catua contributed their assessments and proposals to strengthen cultural activities throughout the region.
