This Thursday, artisans in San Pedro will have the opportunity to register officially and gain access to benefits under the Jujuy Handicrafts Law. The registration event is scheduled for December 18 and 19, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Plaza España.
To enroll in the REUNAR (Single Registry of Artisans), participants must bring their national ID, personal information, several finished pieces, unfinished pieces to demonstrate their process, work tools, and photos or videos of their production site. According to organizers, “Registration is the first step to access credits, training, and sales spaces offered by the province.”
The call is exclusively for handicrafts—manual works produced entirely by hand using natural raw materials. It does not include crafts such as food items, wines, perfumes, incense sticks, industrialized or recycled products.
Organizers emphasize that this initiative aims to formalize genuine artisanal work and provide tools that strengthen activity in the department.
