The Municipality of San Salvador de Jujuy announced on April 1 that it will host a celebration marking the 10th anniversary of “Tiempo de Tradición,” a cultural event focused on honoring local traditions and customs.

The event aims to bring together the community to celebrate and recognize regional heritage. Organizers say it is designed as an opportunity for families and residents to connect with their roots through shared activities.

According to the announcement, the celebration will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Explanada del Centro Cultural Manuel Belgrano (Vieja Estación). Admission is free and open to all members of the public.

Activities planned for the day include a traditional mateada alongside gaucho institutions, performances by ballet groups, live music shows, and participation from copleros. The municipality said these offerings are intended to create a festive environment suitable for family enjoyment.

The organizers invite everyone in San Salvador de Jujuy and surrounding areas to join in commemorating this milestone for “Tiempo de Tradición.”
