The Municipality of San Salvador de Jujuy announced on April 4 that it will launch new training workshops starting Monday, April 6. The courses, organized by the Digital Governance and Innovation departments of the Secretariat of Planning and Environment, will take place at Faro del Saber on Jade Sur street, with access to Punta Diamante.
The initiative aims to provide local residents with skills relevant to today’s job market. By offering free courses in practical areas such as graphic design and cell phone repair, the municipality seeks to support workforce development and encourage entrepreneurship among participants.
Two main workshops are available: Graphic Design and Cell Phone Repair. Both last one month and will be held every Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The Graphic Design workshop will teach participants how to use digital tools, develop creative ideas, and gain key knowledge for entering the labor market. Meanwhile, the Cell Phone Repair course focuses on diagnosing and fixing hardware or software issues in mobile devices, equipping attendees with skills needed to start their own business.
Those interested can register by filling out an online form or joining a WhatsApp group; contact is also available via telephone for further information.
Additionally, a Marketing and Social Media course is set to begin next week at Faro del Saber. This workshop runs Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to noon over one month. Participants will learn about digital marketing strategies from scratch as well as professional management of social media platforms.
By expanding access to these educational opportunities, San Salvador de Jujuy aims to help more people gain technical expertise that can lead directly into employment or self-employment.
