The Directorate of Zoonosis of the Municipality of San Salvador de Jujuy announced on March 29 the schedule and locations for its mobile surgical unit, as well as upcoming vaccination and pet registration operations in various neighborhoods throughout the city.
These initiatives aim to provide residents with access to veterinary services while promoting responsible pet ownership and public health. The municipality said these efforts are part of ongoing measures to encourage proper care and sanitation for pets.
According to the released schedule, on Monday, March 30, the mobile surgical unit will be stationed at Sebastián Gaboto 1240 in Cerro Las Rosas neighborhood starting at 8 a.m. On Tuesday, March 31, vaccination and registration activities will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at Las Corzuelas 170 in Chijra neighborhood. On Wednesday, April 1, the mobile surgical unit will operate from León Este 873 in Rene Favaloro neighborhood beginning at 2 p.m.
The municipality invited all residents to participate in these operations. “From the municipality we invite all neighbors to participate in these operations, remembering the importance of responsible ownership and sanitary care of pets,” officials said.
Efforts like these support broader goals related to animal welfare and community health by making preventive care more accessible across different sectors of San Salvador de Jujuy.
