The Municipality of San Salvador de Jujuy announced on March 29 that it is continuing its series of community workshops focused on emotional wellbeing and strengthening personal relationships. The initiative, organized by the Department of Mental Health under the Subsecretariat of Human Development, aims to promote mental health through open and participatory sessions.
These activities are designed to address key aspects of mental health in the community. By offering practical tools and spaces for reflection, the municipality seeks to support individuals in building healthier self-esteem and interpersonal connections.
A recent workshop titled “Self-esteem and Relationships: Learning to Value Myself to Connect Better” was held for adults over 18 at the Municipal Tourism Directorate hall. The session encouraged participants to reflect on how personal beliefs influence daily interactions and emphasized building relationships based on respect, authenticity, and self-care. Organizers said the environment promoted listening, sharing experiences, and confidentiality among attendees.
The next scheduled workshop is “Learning to Say No: Tools for Setting Healthy Boundaries,” set for April 1 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., also at the Tourism Directorate (Necochea 565). This free event will offer practical strategies for recognizing individual needs, expressing emotions clearly, and communicating respectfully within relationships. There are limited spots available; no prior experience is required—only an openness toward personal growth.
Organizers noted that these workshops take place every two weeks with varying topics related to emotional wellbeing and community mental health. Those interested in participating or seeking more information can contact 388 593 7187.
