The Municipality of San Salvador de Jujuy announced on March 27 that registration remains open for vendors interested in participating in the upcoming pilgrimage to Cerro de la Cruz.
This announcement is part of new measures aimed at improving service for participants in the Popular Economy Commerce sector during this traditional religious event. The municipality said it has extended office hours at the Caracol office, which will now operate from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to accommodate increased demand and facilitate the registration process.
According to the Directorate of Public Spaces, those wishing to conduct commercial activities during the pilgrimage must complete their registration until all available spots in authorized categories are filled. Applicants who have previously registered need only present a valid certificate showing no infractions as street vendors. First-time applicants are required to submit additional documents, including a certificate of no infractions, food handling certification, and a health card if applicable.
Additional documentation requested includes a negative certificate (or proof of contributions or benefits), an original municipal infraction clearance with payment receipt, proof of residence within city limits, and up-to-date food handling and health certifications.
Interested individuals may also visit the Public Spaces offices located on the first floor of Mercado de Concentración at Avenida Almirante Brown and Rivadavia.
