The commissioner of Santa Ana, Daniel Flores, met with officials at the Ministry of Finance and Economy on April 1 to discuss issues facing the rural community. Flores said that the meeting was productive and focused on management, employment, and improvement needs in Santa Ana.
Santa Ana is located in the Valle Grande department and is part of the transition zone between hills and the Jujuy yungas. These geographical factors shape many of its challenges.
“Together with accountant Federico Cardozo, we were able to hold a very fruitful meeting for our community, given that in Santa Ana we have several needs in terms of management, work, and improvements. For his part, the minister—with kindness and willingness—asked me to present a report on requests for priority attention, which will be evaluated in due course,” Flores said.
Flores also said: “We hope that negotiations will come to a good end and that it will be possible to organize the situation we are going through today, keeping in mind the importance of planning actions and investment to improve quality of life.”
He concluded by thanking provincial authorities for creating spaces for dialogue where proposals can be presented for local development.
