The local electricity provider announced on April 3 that scheduled power outages will take place in San Pedro next week to improve service quality. The company said these interruptions are necessary to allow for tree clearing and replacement of utility poles in different areas.
According to the announcement, the planned work aims to enhance the reliability and safety of the electrical network by addressing vegetation near power lines and updating infrastructure. These efforts are part of ongoing maintenance activities intended to minimize future disruptions.
On Monday, April 6, electricity will be interrupted in Santa Rosa de Lima neighborhood and surrounding areas from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Crews will focus on clearing trees around high-voltage lines during this period. On Tuesday, April 7, the outage will shift to Belgrano neighborhood and nearby zones from about 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., with both tree clearing and pole replacement scheduled for that day.
The company thanked residents for their understanding and advised those affected to take necessary precautions during the planned outages. “Ante cualquier duda, recordaron que sus canales oficiales de atención permanecen disponibles las 24 horas,” said representatives from the utility.
These measures reflect continued efforts by local utilities to maintain service standards while ensuring public safety.
