A meeting was held on December 16 at School No. 252 in Los Lapachos to present details of a construction project planned for the institution. The session included participation from SebastiĆ”n FarfĆ”n, coordinator of the BCIE–SIE program, technical teams, school administrators, and representatives from the construction company.

During the meeting, organizers outlined the scope of work that will be carried out throughout the school. Planned improvements include painting, ceiling renovations, updates to electrical installations, and general repairs aimed at improving building conditions.

The project also addresses long-standing requests from the school community for upgrades to the playground area. Upon completion, School No. 252 will have a covered patio that will serve as a central space for daily activities and school life.

These efforts are part of an initiative by the Ministry of Education through the PROMACE Program with funding from BCIE. The goal is to strengthen educational infrastructure and ensure students have access to safe and suitable learning environments.
