The second cohort of the Didactic Literacy Forums concluded on November 29, bringing together more than 900 teachers from across the province. The initiative is part of a training program led by the Ministry of Education of Jujuy.
According to the Ministry, this program supports one of its main policies: improving teaching practices and enhancing learning related to literacy processes. The forums were designed and supported by the team behind the Provincial Literacy Plan. They provided opportunities for reflection, pedagogical exchange, and collective development of teaching strategies tailored to the specific challenges faced in Jujuy.
With this latest group, a total of 1,500 teachers have now participated actively in these forums. Each session aimed to renew participants’ commitment to supporting children and adolescents in their educational journeys.
A spokesperson for the Ministry stated: “Each meeting represented a space to renew conviction and dedication toward every child and adolescent, prioritizing strengthening their educational paths and ensuring learning for their development.”
The Ministry described these efforts as significant progress toward achieving quality education that is fairer, more inclusive, and built on stronger teaching proposals. “There is still much work ahead,” another statement read, “but the shared commitment among teachers, technical teams, and the educational community shows that it is possible to transform reality through collective work.”
