On the third day of the Semana de las Artes 2025, students and teachers gathered at the Centro de Innovación Educativa to participate in activities that combined technology, creativity, and emotion.

Workshops focused on musical composition and production attracted young people from various institutions. Participants had the opportunity to record, edit, and mix their own songs under the guidance of workshop leader Alejandro Zogbe. Zogbe said, “una experiencia palpable con la producción musical: los chicos se van con su propio material y con los conocimientos para seguir trabajando” (“a tangible experience with music production: the kids leave with their own material and with the knowledge to keep working”).

Valeria Contreras, a teacher from Bachillerato Provincial N.º 2, described the event as a unique opportunity for her students. She stated, “No siempre contamos con los recursos para trabajar con software y equipos de grabación. Por eso, venir al Centro y vivir esta experiencia los entusiasma y los forma en lo que más les gusta: hacer música” (“We don’t always have access to software and recording equipment. That’s why coming to the Center and living this experience excites them and helps them grow in what they love most: making music”).

Visual arts were also featured during the day. Students from IES Nº 4 participated in live model painting sessions where they practiced techniques based on direct observation. Student Nadia Cruz explained, “La profesora nos pide que expresemos lo que vemos en el momento, sin recurrir a fotografías. Es una experiencia viva” (“The teacher asks us to express what we see in the moment without using photographs. It’s a living experience”).

In addition to music workshops, there were theatrical presentations in the microcinema including “Mírame” and “Ñawpa Yupikuna – Huellas Ancestrales,” performed by students specializing in artistic disciplines.

Meanwhile, on the ground floor of Ciudad de las Artes, students and teachers worked together on installing and removing visual art pieces as part of efforts to update weekly exhibitions.

The event aimed to foster student creativity by merging technology with artistic expression throughout these collaborative activities.
