Federico Stieglitz competed in a motorsport event in Concordia, finishing second on April 12 after receiving a ten-second penalty. Stieglitz showed strong performance throughout the weekend, starting with leading times during Saturday’s practice sessions and securing the fastest lap by two tenths of a second ahead of his rivals.
He qualified in second place behind MatÃas Canapino, which positioned him well for the series races. In his series, Stieglitz started from pole position and maintained the lead from start to finish, winning with a one-second advantage over his closest competitor and setting the fastest time among all series.
The final race began with complications for Stieglitz when his car stalled at the start, resulting in movement that led to a ten-second penalty. Despite this setback, he managed to keep calm and delivered consistently fast laps. By lap four he had taken the lead of the race. After being informed of his penalty on lap six, he dropped to nineteenth place due to close gaps between competitors but quickly climbed back up through the field.
By lap twelve he was sixth overall and continued breaking lap records as he advanced positions. On lap fourteen he moved into second place by beating teammate Federico Hermida on time. Although Stieglitz crossed the line first with a four-second gap over Canapino, Canapino was awarded victory due to Stieglitz’s penalty.
Stieglitz ended up fourth in championship standings after this round and also earned an extra point for recording the fastest lap during the final. Meanwhile, Clapier faced difficulties in Class 2: engine failure, an accident during his heat race, and another incident while recovering positions left him out of contention.
