A virtual training session focused on the Wine Routes was held on Friday, aimed at enhancing the technical knowledge of tourism informants in the province. The event sought to provide updated information about local wine offerings, a sector that has seen significant growth, ensuring that staff are equipped to guide visitors effectively.
The session featured presentations from two key wineries involved in the region’s enotourism circuit. Bodega La Selestina began the program, followed by Bodega Don Milagro Cruz. These technical presentations gave participants detailed insights into production processes and the unique characteristics of high-altitude wines, which are important for conveying the sensory experiences available in the area.
The professional development initiative was conducted online, with the goal of improving service standards across all information centers. By focusing on viticulture, organizers aim to strengthen efforts to promote the region as a destination and establish local wines as central to its cultural and tourism identity. Organizers stated that ongoing training will ensure that information provided to tourists remains accurate and reflective of Jujuy’s products.
