Tieto Tech Consulting and FNT Software have announced a new phase in their collaboration, formalizing a strategic partnership to address the increasing need for intelligent network automation in the telecom sector. The companies aim to combine Tieto Tech Consulting’s expertise in telecom engineering with FNT Software’s unified inventory solutions to deliver advanced services to global markets.

The partnership will focus on developing and integrating solutions based on FNT Software’s Command Platform. This platform is designed for next-generation telecom environments, including IP networks, radio access networks (RAN), and cloud-native infrastructures. It provides a single source of information from physical infrastructure through logical elements up to service layers, aiming to improve planning, rollout, and automation processes.

Mike Nescholta, Vice President of Global Telecom Business at Tieto Tech Consulting, stated: “We are excited to work even closer with FNT Software to deliver high-impact solutions that meet the evolving needs of telecom operators, data centre operators, and enterprises. This new stage of our partnership reflects our commitment to innovation and excellence in software engineering for the industry.”

Falk Krebes, Director Global Partner Management at FNT Software, said: “Our unified inventory products improves the efficiency of information handling and constitutes a critical component in the evolution towards autonomous network operations. Tieto Tech Consulting is a strong partner with proven expertise in telecom networks, and we look forward to further accelerating our growth together.”

The companies expect this enhanced alliance will create new opportunities for communication services providers while improving operational efficiency and supporting the move toward autonomous network operations.

Tieto Tech Consulting specializes in network automation, multivendor systems integration, and custom OSS/BSS development for mobile operators and communications service providers. The company employs over 8,200 engineers globally—3,000 focused on telecom software engineering—and serves more than 1,500 customers worldwide.

FNT Software GmbH is headquartered in Ellwangen (Jagst), Germany.
