Tietoevry has announced a major rebranding initiative following the sale of its Tech Services business in September 2025. The company will now operate under the name Tieto, which means “data, information, and knowledge” in Finnish. This change is part of a broader strategy to simplify operations and focus on core areas.

The company’s structure now consists of four main vertical software and services businesses: Care, Banking, Industry, and Create. These have been renamed as Tieto Caretech, Tieto Banktech, Tieto Indtech, and Tieto Tech Consulting respectively. The new brand identity will be rolled out over the coming months, beginning with Capital Markets Day on November 25, 2025. The official change of the parent company’s name to Tieto will require approval at the Annual General Meeting.

Endre Rangnes, CEO of Tietoevry, commented on the transition: “This is a pivotal time for our company as AI transforms the industry. Our new brand will help us demonstrate our commitment to customer success and energize key initiatives, including improving sales and AI expertise. While looking ahead, we also value our heritage—having operated since 1968 gives our name meaning in an increasingly artificial world. We are ready to begin the next chapter as Tieto, and to be an impact partner for our customers.”

Tieto employs about 15,000 experts worldwide who work across software development, design, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence. The company serves various industries with mission-critical solutions through its specialized businesses.

With annual revenue around EUR 2 billion and shares listed on stock exchanges in Helsinki, Stockholm (NASDAQ), and Oslo Børs (https://www.tieto.com), Tieto maintains a significant presence in global software and digital engineering markets.
