The Directorate of Traffic and Transport, part of the Secretariat of Public Services of the Municipality of San Salvador de Jujuy, announced on April 9 that there will be vehicle restrictions during the sixteenth edition of the Floriculture Exhibition ‘La Flor Más Bella.’ The event is scheduled to take place from April 10 to April 12.

Authorities said that assembly work for the central arrangement began at 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, with a total restriction on vehicle entry starting at 2:00 p.m. This measure affects Avenida 19 de Abril between Juana Azurduy Bridge and Coronel Gorriti Bridge and will remain in effect until the end of the event.

Officials are asking drivers and residents to respect posted signs and follow instructions from traffic personnel to ensure safety and allow activities to proceed smoothly. The exhibition is organized by the Association of Ornamental Plant Producers of Jujuy (APPOJUY) with support from the municipality as part of City Week leading up to San Salvador de Jujuy’s 433rd anniversary.

The exhibition will be open from April 10 through April 12, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with free admission. More than forty local producers are expected, along with exhibitors from Salta and Tucumán. Activities include plant displays, sales, specialized advice, and free workshops related to gardening and well-being.

Workshops offered on Saturday include topics such as pest control using plant extracts, medicinal plants for common ailments, care for tropical foliage plants, domestic vermiculture, autumn-winter fruit tree care, floral art (with prior registration), and family mindfulness sessions involving children aged four to ten accompanied by an adult (also requiring registration).

Artistic performances are also planned during the event. On Saturday at noon there will be a performance by “Jazz Band,” followed later by “Tacita de Plata” music band from Jujuy Police at 6:30 p.m. Sunday features “Reyes Caporales” at four o’clock in the afternoon followed by singers Jesús Rojas and Darío Franco among other surprise guests.
