Bodegas, tourism agencies, and local governments gathered for a working session focused on sustainable wine tourism experiences. The event, organized by the Federal Investment Council (CFI), took place at Hotel Altos de la Viña and aimed to strengthen the province’s position as a leading wine tourism destination in northern Argentina.
The session covered topics such as experience design, product development, digital marketing, and commercialization. A highlight of the day was a workshop held at Antropo Wines winery, where participants engaged in role-playing activities to apply concepts and share best practices. Financing options from CFI for sector projects were also presented.
Federico Posadas, Minister of Culture and Tourism, commented on the growth of the activity: “There are already more than 20 wineries we have; it is generating a lot of expectation. These are unique wines in the country, of very high quality, and it is a product that has allowed us to position ourselves as one of the highest-quality tourist destinations in Argentina.” He expressed enthusiasm about participation levels and thanked CFI, the Ministry of Production, and the tourism team.
The meeting concluded with a commitment from both public and private sectors to establish wine tourism as a distinctive, sustainable, and profitable product that can diversify provincial tourism offerings.
