A workshop focused on disability awareness and sensitivity was organized in Huacalera through the Provincial Directorate for the Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities, under the Secretariat of Integral Development, according to an April 9 announcement.

The event aimed to inform participants about current issues related to the reduction of pensions and the scope of Emergency Law No. 27793, which seeks to protect the rights of people with disabilities during economic crises and ensure its mandatory enforcement.

Andrea Segovia from the technical team at the Provincial Directorate for Inclusion explained that the main goal was “brindar un taller de concientización orientado a la sensibilización y al buen trato hacia las personas con discapacidad.

The initiative highlights ongoing efforts to promote inclusion and provide information about rights for people with disabilities within local communities.
